We are pleased to announce we will be presenting at Fagþing on May 25 – 28 in Hveragerði, South Iceland. The conference will host nearly 200 participants from the biggest geothermal, wastewater and engineering companies in Iceland. Svarmi will be presenting a booth with our custom-built drones and some of our recent work, including our work in geothermal areas using a LWIR (longwave infrared) thermal camera.
Highlighting Svarmi’s Work:
Thermal Inspection using Drones
On Friday, May 28th at , Árni Stefánsson from HS Orka will present a lecture at Fagþing about work that Svarmi performed in Winter and Spring 2018 inspecting geothermal pipes on Reykjanes using a thermal camera to detect leaks and damage. The lecture, which will take place in the afternoon, is titled “Eftirlit með stofnlögnum hitaveitu með hitamyndavél og dróna” in the lecture series “Tæknilausnir í hitaveitum”.
